Soliant is seeking two Part-Time/On-Call Pharmacists for a long-term care pharmacy in Hudson, Wisconsin, just 30 miles east of Minneapolis. This contract runs through February 1, 2026, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Competitive weekly pay is offered. (This role is part-time/on-call, so full-time benefits do not apply.)
This is an excellent opportunity for retail pharmacists interested in gaining LTC experience and building a pathway toward contract-to-hire employment.
Position Details
- Setting: Long-Term Care Pharmacy
- Location: Hudson, WI
- Start: ASAP
- End: 2/1/26 (contract-to-hire potential)
- Schedule:
- As-needed basis
- Weekends: 12pm4pm
- Weekdays: 10am6pm
- On-Call: 6pm10am (after-hours)
- Expected monthly coverage: 24 weekend shifts + 23 on-call evenings per week
- On-Call Compensation: $75 per diem + $75 per dispensing call
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and dispense prescription medications
- Monitor medication compliance and identify overuse
- Ensure medications comply with regulatory requirements
- Review prescriptions for suitability and accuracy
- Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Counsel patients on dosing, side effects, interactions, and medication management
- Provide support with smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management
- Educate patients on proper use of medical devices
- Compound medications; prepare sterile solutions
- Manage inventory for pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
- Identify and communicate drug-related issues with prescribers
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interns, and support staff
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks as needed
Required Qualifications (No Exceptions)
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License
- Ability to work flexible and on-call schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
